As you probably know, every design project goes through several main stages before it is completed. The same goes for furniture visualization projects.

Main stages of the project

In this article, we will take a closer look at the main stages of such projects and what should be done at each stage to create stunning visuals that will help sell your products:

1. Gathering the necessary information

The first stage of any furniture visualization project is, of course, gathering the necessary information about the piece of furniture you want to create visuals for. This includes taking accurate measurements, collecting reference photos, and making sure you have all the materials you need. Once you have all the information you need, it’s time to start modeling the piece of furniture in 3D software.

2. Creating the actual 3D model

The second stage is creating the actual 3D model of the piece of furniture. This is where you will use all the information gathered in the first stage to creating a realistic 3D model that looks just like the real thing.

Once your 3D model is complete, it’s time to start working on the textures and materials. This is where you will add all the details that will make your furniture visualization really stand out.

3. Rendering

The third stage is rendering. This is where you will take your 3D model and turn it into a realistic image or video that can be used for marketing and advertising purposes. There are many different rendering software programs available, so make sure to do some research to find the one that best suits your needs. For example, our team prefers to use 3ds Max for this purpose.

4. Post-production

And finally, the last stage of any furniture visualization project is post-production. This is where you will add any final touches to your visuals, such as adding shadows, highlights, and other effects. Once you’re happy with the results, you can then export your visuals in a format that can be used for print or digital marketing purposes.

As you can see, there are several main stages to every furniture visualization project. By following these steps, you can be sure to create stunning visuals that will help sell your products.
