Making of the project

This project is part of a large virtual showhouse created together with national media partner Martha Stewart Living and Embello influencer marketing agency. The first-ever showhouse brought together 20 renowned designers, and each designer was responsible for their part of the house. Our job as a 3D visualization studio was to get each designer’s vision to life and create a virtual showhouse highlighting sponsors' products.

Vanessa Deleon became the designer who worked on the second-floor bedroom. From Vanessa: "Flaunting marble surfaces and a light color scheme, we created a clean, organic guest bedroom and bath for visitors to stock up on much-needed R&R. The bath ensures getting ready is a breeze, thanks to an adjoining bar area complete with coffee supplies and stocked wine cooler. A custom walk-in closet affords elevated storage, encouraging guests to unpack and present their wardrobe in style".

Phase #1: Source materials provided by the designer

The first step was to explore moodboards that Vanessa made for this bedroom. We also had to look through her design notes to get a better understanding of the concept.

Phase #2: 3D Interior Rendering

The second step was to begin the 3D modeling of the bedroom, taking into account Vanessa's design notes and moodboards. We then had to create textures for all the materials (e.g., fabric, wood, marble) and set up lighting for the space.

Phase #3: 3D Virtual Showroom

The next step was to set up the virtual tour of the showroom. We had to include 3D models of all the rooms, 360 video tours and interactive elements (clicking on objects will bring up additional information). Once everything was finished, we were able to launch the complete virtual showroom for Martha Stewart. It was a big success, allowing visitors to experience new-age virtual tours — explore the entire house, get product info with pop-ups, navigate through floor plan view, menu, and much more.

Phase #4: Animation

The final step was to create animations for the virtual tour to allow the viewer to experience walking through the room and seeing all of the details up close. This helped draw in a larger audience and further emphasized the design style.

We are proud to have contributed our expertise to this project and look forward to collaborating on more virtual showrooms in the future. With the technology available today, it has become much easier for designers to create immersive experiences that bring their designs to life. We hope these types of projects will continue to inspire current and future generations of creatives.

We are looking forward to future projects like this one as we continue to push the boundaries of 3D design. Thank you, Martha Stewart, for allowing us to work on this fantastic project!
