This project is part of a large virtual showhouse created together with national media partner Martha Stewart Living and Embello influencer marketing agency. The first-ever showhouse brought together 20 renowned designers, and each designer was responsible for their part of the house. Our job as a 3D visualization studio was to get each designer’s vision to life and create a virtual showhouse highlighting sponsors' products.
This tranquil primary bedroom was designed by Mikel Welch to feel like a resort suite. The room's neutral tones cater to its calming aesthetic. Inviting and not too stuffy, the sumptuous respite exudes timelessness and promotes relaxation.
Phase #1: Source materials provided by the designer
The project's first phase was to sketch out Mikel's vision for the room. As in the case of other projects, our team started working by studying materials provided by the designer.
We went through Mikel's ideas and materials he'd chosen for this room, making sure to keep them in mind for the renderings.
Phase #2: 3D Interior Rendering
The second phase of the project was to create a 3D rendering of Mikel's vision. We used state-of-the-art 3D software to bring his ideas to life, creating realistic images through careful lighting and texturing techniques. We also used photorealistic materials and textures to accurately represent Mikel's design concept on screen.
Phase #3: 3D Virtual Showroom
The next task was to create a virtual tour of the entire house. We used our 3D rendering to represent Mikel's bedroom as part of the larger showroom, providing viewers with a sense of the layout and scale of the entire space. This allowed users to get an idea of how the bedroom fits into the overall design concept.

Phase #4: Animation
The last phase of the project was to produce an animation of the 3D rendering. Using top-notch software, we created an animation to the room, giving it a life-like atmosphere. We also added transitions and other special effects to create a completely immersive experience.
We successfully completed our part of the project and were pleased to see how Mikel's vision came together in the final showroom. We appreciate the opportunity to work with such a talented designer, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future!
